Maxxforce 13 losing power intermittent

Been sick of it after the first $5K repair bill, and it keeps going in for more. I think these trucks has a terminal disease

International in Sparks NV said the high pressure fuel pump has 136 faults. $3300 for a new plus labor. Still seems electrical to me, asked the service tech he said there are electrical switches and solenoids I inside, but you have to replace the pump itself because they don’t sell separately...my luck! This thing just keeps eating $1,000 bills like there is no tomorrow.

 

Did you put the new fuel pump in? I took mine to one shop yesterday and they mechanic spent all day on it and couldn't figure it out, so he gave up. I have to make an appointment with international dealer to find and that's if I can find the right one.

 

So did you change the pump and did that fix the problem?

 

Also curious if you ever figured out the problem?
