How do you perform the cruise control button method?

I feel your pain because I’m in the same exact situation. I’ve fixed the def and replaced all those parts then it all started to break down short after then I did the delete and now my truck is leaking and burning oil, for every 800-1000 miles I run I need to add half a gallon of oil. I don’t know how long it’s gonna last but I’m already looking for work until I get buy another truck. I’m trying to find out who would buy the truck in this condition it still runs and it’s prob good to do an engine swap but I’m not doing it. Any suggestions where I can sell the truck?? Junk yard? Any recommendations?

So I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 Bus with a 6.4L Maxxforce 7 engine. Will only use 4 times a month or so for 30miles each trip. Do you think this engine will hold up?

A long time ago you could pull software to talk to ECM off the laptop serial via the correct tractor's port. No dealer needed. Which means speed her up.

That got cut off at the knees VERY quickly.

Sorry I haven't been paying attention to the forums.

Press the cruise control 'on' button on the left side of the steering wheel, and simultaneously press the resume/accel button on the right side. Make sure vehicle is in in park, and emergency brake engaged. The gauges will do a sweeping motion first and then display the fault codes on the dash.

Keep in mind that this doesn't always work on every model. It worked on my 2012, but not on the 2013 International rental unit I had.
