I have wrote plenty on this subject of what causes it and what to do. Just search around for my posts in this section.

The question is it staying in Regen mode? If it stops after 15 min or so, and still calls for a Regen, the DPF is clogged and needs to be baked. Frequent regens are a symptom of a clogged DPF

It finishes the Regen - about 40 min - then runs fine for 30 - 50 miles, then commands a Parked Regen again.

What did you end having to do? It sounds like that DPF is clogged. The mystery is how much the previous owner idled and whether he/she drove it more on the highway or in the city

I took it to the Dealership Service Dept. today that I bought it from. I am sure that it was mostly run in town around Miami, It was used to pull a Low Boy delivering equipment locally for a heavy equipment rental company, hence the low miles. The DPF is getting clogged prematurely and I was told that it was probably because of a exhaust or intake leak. I hope to find out the diagnosis in the next day or so.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about the exhaust leak. I had that leaked so bad, that the smoke came in the cab. It then burned a home in one of the air lines. The whole repair was $2200

Dealership called today. Said that the exhaust was going around the DPF and coming out of the DPF.
