With the cost of the truck and a proper delete and potential legal costs down the line, you're better off spending $10K more for an International with a Cummins. It'll save you in the long run. If all you can afford is a Maxxforce truck with 400K miles, then maybe you're not ready to buy a truck yet.

He is only going 340 miles, why would go buy a more expensive truck with miles so that maybe it will last. The way I look at it its like going to harbor freight or craftsman. They both get the job done.

For 16k I would do it. ####, with rates what they are if you could get 50k miles out of the truck before it exploded into a cloud of radioactive dust you'd turn a profit.

I have seen 2 abandoned , one in Phoenix and one in N Carolina and both had huge oil puddle underneath. Rented a box truck with Maxxforce and made it 20 miles before it just gave up , new truck also .

Guy that owns the shop I go to for work had a couple that he deleted. Says they run great and zero issues. Probably depends who does you delete.
