Greetings fella's and Drivers. I have my application in with May. I think so far this company is very friendly and treats you like a family. I only had 3 phones calls so far but I feel like I am treated like a family member more than a applicant. Jennifer has been wonderful, and if this is what represents the rest of the company I MAY like it a lot! I got two more weeks tell I finish my final test date, Take care!

Going good so far, passed the skills test at the Payette office Monday and just finished Day 2 of orientation. (paperwork and videos) They took us out to lunch today for Chinese.(good food) We will be back tomorrow to finish paperwork and hopfully become a May Truck Drivers.(fingers crossed) I am hoping to get with my trainer Monday April 4th. He is supposed to be in the Payette area this week for his hometime and then ready to head back out again with me on Monday. I will try and stay in touch and let you know how it goes. Be safe and hope to see some of you out there soon. :biggrin_255:

I just got hired on at MTC, orientation was at Brooks. Now I am waiting for my trainer to call, he is a Portland local driver.

How is it going so far for you? Are you still enjoying May? I'm nearing the end of my CDL schooling and have been approved by May. What is their driving and skills test like? I've heard that they have a difficult skills test that many do not pass. Is that true? Besides my 44 hours of driving in school, It is the only time I have in a tractor trailer. Any info is appreciated!

Sorry I missed you idfive, we were out of there before Monday can't remember that far back, I think it was Friday night when we left.

Anyway, just soloed(sp) out today, I'll start on Tuesday the 12th. The trucked they assigned to me is a Pete 387 in the 4600s, which will be ok, I trained on the 587,so I'm used to it. I did kinda of wanted a Cascadia, but I'm glad they had a truck for me so I'm not choosey. Once I get the truck number I'll post it, like I said it will be 4600s,not sure exactly yet.

Feels good to have internet again, I think I was going through withdrawls:biggrin_2553:
I'll be getting a droid phone to take with me so I'll have access to the net.

I'm off here for tonight, click some more tomorrow.
