Scotty-Dog, thanks for the reply. I too was a business owner, I owned a construction company from the early 80s until 2002 when I turned it over to my son. The experience of having good and bad employees is a real eye opener. I had a system the way I wanted things done, but some people had their own Ideas and would try and change it up, which messed up my system. They may have had good ideas, but it wouldn't work for my system. So having employees has taught me how to be a good employee. When a company has a system all worked out, just do what they ask and do it to the best of your ability and learn the way they like things done. I'm not experienced in the trucking industry, but I will try and learn as fast as I can, I have much to learn :biggrin_25514:

Thanks Y2K for the congrats, I think May will work out great for me. I've done a lot of reading about different companies, Schneider seems to be a good company. I hope it works out good for you, be safe.

I'm still waiting on a phone call. Talked to Leoana Friday, my app is still being processed, I guess they've been slammed and shorthanded. She told me there were 14 people ahead of me, I don't know if she meant at Brooks or nationwide, I'm thinking Brooks, so the wait could be awhile longer.

I have a lot to learn, hope I'm a fast learner. Sounds like the trainers here at May are very good, so I hope to learn a lot and retain it. I've only been out of school for almost three weeks, seems alot longer, hope I still remember how to drive :biggrin_25521: I can't wait to get on the road:biggrin_25523:
You all be safe out there, watch out for the cold weather suppose to be hitting the NW again sometime this week.

You'll have a good time in orientation. The instructors name is Tom. He is very laid back, but also very knowledgeable.

    CAM Thanks this.

I talked with Jennifer in Pensacola the other day and basically got the 'pre-hire'. I have to call back on March 1st for it to be official since I'm still in school and they have to do everything within 30 days of graduation. Seems like a great company.
