You'll pick it up pretty quick when you're at it every day but yeah it's a PITA at first.
Wish I had a cheat-sheet for Schneider's Q-com,it's all different from May so I have to learn it all over again and unlearn the May way.

We had that sheet in orientation, there is suppose to be one in every truck, if not I'll be sure and pick one up.
    I'll be going 48.
    pjw044 are you 48 or W/11?
Also they didn't cover this in orientation, is there a driver login page?
    Be safe

Yes, cheat sheet is good:biggrin_25519: I'm not worried about it, it's just like anything else, it will just take some time to learn.

Maybe you should talk to someone at Schneider about creating one (cheat-sheet) anything to help the drivers do a better job.

Be safe in that big pumkin:biggrin_25523:

I just wanted to give my impression of May Trucking.
Even before I went to CDL Training I needed to find out some info on the Trucking Industry. I found out real quick that if your not already trained and ready to go, most companies, (recruiters), don't want to talk to you. I even had one guy hang up on me when he found out I was just wanting to ask some questions. So I called him back and asked him why he hung up, he didn't have an answer.
When I called May they were different, they were happy to explain and answer all my questions and such a great attitude. With that first impression, and from everything I've read here, I made my decision to go with May.
I'm very glad about my decision, after going to orientation and seeing the professionalism and the great attitude of the staff, I was very impressed.
About orientation, the first day was interesting doing the drive test and skills test, for me was a lot of fun. Then two days of classroom could have been very boring, except Tom made it a lot of fun, what a great guy and very knowledgeable:yes2557: I learned a lot in those two days.
Then at the end of orientation we walked around and met some of the staff in different departments, all were happy with great attitudes.
At that point I knew I was home, the only thing I can compare it to, it felt like family.
    IMHO May is Top Notch!
I'm suppose to have a trainer by the middle of next week, I'm ready to get going and get to learnin.

This too is why I've chosen May. Professionals. Not looking for seat meat or wheelholders. I want a some place I can stick with for 2 to 3 yrs to get some experance. Im glad you have found May a great place.

I got a call from my trainer, I'll meet him at the truck stop near my house tomorrow.
My adventure is about to begin.
We're heading south, he didn't really say where, but he did say bring some warm weather clothes :glasses7: But he also said bring some cold weather clothes:biggrin_2553:
I'll check back in as soon as I can to let you all know what's happening.
Have a good one and stay safe.
