Going to central tech in drumright oklahoma, pre hire with conway . They are paying for half of school. Am I going to have to do boot camp at crowder?
Suggestions: Try to find a local job driving a straight truck or bus with a manual transmission. That will give you more experience with longer vehicles, clutches, and wider turns and will help you decide if doing that for a living is really up your alley, so to speak. Don't "give up." You might decide that driving a CDL vehicle isn't your cup of tea, as many learn, but do it from a position of knowledge, not frustration. When you do return, keep Prime in mind. Their CDL school is really all about on-the-job training. It might be just the thing to bridge the gaps you have.
thanks everyone. I got a good factory job through a temp agency. not driveing but it is still a refreshing change of pace. i plan looking into other driveing oportunities latter but for now just happy to have a paycheck lol will keep in touch
