Are you going to be staying in Joplin or Neosho on the weekends? I'm probably betting Neosho?

Are you bringing your car or riding the "dog"?

Unfortunately I won't be around Joplin most of this weekend, but I'll be at the Holiday Inn Convention Center the following Friday and Saturday (26/27) for an event... which is within walking distance of the hotel if you're staying there that weekend.

When you find out... let me know.

Really did not have a specific recruiter per say. They guy I talked to seemed as if it was the last thing in his life he wanted to do was answer ANOTHER question from a newbie. I called and left a message with Keturah so hopefully she will call me back soon. Really at an impasse trying to see what I want to do. Debating between the true OTR gig or possibly a regional one. Not sure. Just want to make sure I get with a good company. I still like US Express. I have talked to three different recruiters and got three different versions of what to expect. At least it gives me a lot to think about.

 

Are you going to stay in the dorms at Crowder?

 

Blktop I guess you feel exhausted after 40 hour bus trip. I'm on my way to Crowder too. I drove 12 hours yesterday from my home (Winchester VA), stop in motel in Mt.Vernon IL for night. Put 702 miles on my car. I've almost 400 more to go. C u later.

Head over to Cheddar's tonight and get you a good meal. It's next to the hotel to your west. One of the best restaurants in Joplin and prices aren't too bad.

Also... I think the Sam's Club is currently open to the public with no membership required due to the tornado. Might be worth checking into if you're needing anything.

Conway's terminal is only about a mile NE of you. Won't take you guys 5 minutes to get there in the morning and you will be VERY IMPRESSED.

 

I try not to remember my last bus experience but glad you made it enjoy the HI and keep us posted on your progress, good luck!
