    today was good.

    we started out on the simulator driveing through both highway and city.

    after lunch we got in the trucks:biggrin_25525:. my group had the 9sp freightliner culumbia.
    So much better than driveing the simulator lol

    tomorrow we do straight line backing.:biggrin_255:

    Blktop- does the school schedule anything on the weekends or are you free to do as you see fit? Just curious, I was looking at a few things to do on the weekends and did not know for sure if I would be able to plan on them.

    one bicycle and 5 teenagers comited suicide under my drives.:biggrin_2551:
    the cyclist was the teacher :biggrin_2554: i was going like 3 mp :biggrin_25521: sims do not respond to get out of the road you silly kids:biggrin_25522:

    Today we spent the whole day driving. I saw a definite improvement over yesterday.

    basic L& r turns and straight line backing.
    I started out on the white KW w900L then moved to a KW T2000.

    Nhlfan and I got up early and did a pretrip at 6am that was fun at dusk espescialy when the girls went jogging by lol:biggrin_25525:
    another good day here at crowder.

    Glad to hear things continue to go well. Which truck did you like best the 900 or the 2000? Do you think the simulator prepared you for manuvering an actual truck? Or was it more of a formality just to be sure you wouldn't freak out and kill everybody?

    Believe it or not I liked the freightliner columbia I drove yesterday Much easier shifting and i liked the mirror set up better


    I found the simulator was helpfull getting used to the mirrors and on driveing> I did not care for the shifter
