    If you like, I'll run the actual truck route miles for your trips too. I'm always interested in what the actual mileage is verses what the "paid" miles are. Lot of companies have quite a disparty in this. I don't have the actual street addresses for your starting and ending points, but for instance, this trip from city to city shows 1326 miles on truck routes. Up to you I guess, but I love your idea for this thread.

    TruckerJerry I thank you for all your helpful info... I'm from ms I wonder were will I run mostly... I didn't realize how much candy this country eats...lol. Do you chose were you fuel?? Are the reefers loud? Do you ever take loads home? Also does it take along time to get unloaded?

    Don't really no about were you will mostly run if you are in ms we run all 48 so it could be any were and we don't get to pick are fuel stops put you can call in and get it changed I have took loads home but I am just about 10 miles from a yard so when I go home I just take it there and some of the older ones are loud but you get use to it now when it come to getting unloaded or loaded that's any one guess on that I have had times it just takes 30min to times it take 10hrs so but you get payed for it

    Yes, and almost invariably the driver gets shorted by 10 - 50 miles by that method. And if they are calculating that zip-to-zip using one of the online free map sites they are getting "shortest car route" which further takes actual truck miles away from he driver. So I am curious how your actual miles compare to "paid" miles compared to truck rout GPS dock-to-dock predictions. Should be interesting.
