Swift has dedicated heavy haul in the western states, which will limit you to I believe 7 states. They also do 48, regional, dedicated and 48 and Canada.

The Troutdale terminal treat drivers based out of their terminal very well and screw everyone else who needs a load out of there. Can’t go wrong with that lol.

If you want to do refrigerated, that works too but your terminal will be in SLC.

    It sucks to be you.

Why do your "only" choices suck so bad?

They taught me how to drive a truck and pull a skateboard 18+ years ago........Flatbed drivers out of Phx were definitely treated better than the rest and got to pull some pretty gravy loads.

Maybe I will just go back to school and finish my certification in what I was originally getting lol. The trainer isn't a friend just someone who has posted on youtube and we have talked back and forth about it.

It's because I got my CDL back in 2015 but never did it right after. Not only that but because my poor work history many of the good ones won't hire me. It's my own fault really.

Please note, many drivers do just that.
Only to find out that the grass is not always greener at the new company.

Then they start job hopping trying to find that 'just right' green.

He doesnt have a good work history. He can get it back with a consistent year or so in trucking, no matter with what company..crappy or not, then move on to something else ie local, ltl, etc. The opportunities are there in trucking that is for sure.
