Does the 90 days include training........Training would be 420 gross verses 90 times 7 days, equals 630 gross. It would be an extra 210 for a month of training.

You don't have to take the $90 a day deal. They offer that in hopes of keeping the newbie on the books for at least 90 days, for tax credit purposes on their end I was told. Also, it's not $90 a day whether you're working or not. It's $90 a day for the days you are driving.
When I started there, if I thought I couldn't of at least averaged 2, 700 miles a week (which I did more than that) I would of looked for another company or given a pass to trucking completely.secorp Thanks this. -
What's the home time like for newbies?
-
the same as it is for everyone else... 1 day/1 week out. 11 western requires you to stay out 2 wks, 48 requires 3 weeks
-
Right now I stay out 4 weeks then go home for 3 days. They have been been very good about getting me home on the days I request.
-
Right now I stay out 5.5 days and go home 1.5 days
Plus during the week I might stop by the house for "an afternoon delight" with the wife if the timing is right.

hey everyone. i'm considering coming to work for May. I am curious: how many miles can I expect to get while with my trainer? Should I expect to work 70 hours per week, to test me and see if i can handle the pressure of driving? Thanks.
-
When I was with my trainer we were getting 2500- 2800 miles a.week. May does not let your tainer sleep while you are driving. They are in the passenger seat. I did about 90% of the driving.
