the fuel increase was thought too possibly happen over the weekend.

hank, yeah i am heading east w/ a trl. full of assorted type of stir fry vegie's. just add the meat. lol

i filled up in denver today i did get a respectable 6.3 coming from OR.
i added some lucas to the tank so i am thinking i will get better as i have always done well east of rock springs WY.

Hank, i am watching the boost gauge real close on the incline's, i believe it will help.

anyone know something about a product called freight wings ?
those trl. skirts, how much do they help mpg
saw some on a trl where i picked up..

I am a fellow May driver. There are some gripes, some praises, as with any company. They are pretty tight on safety, and I respect that. Sometimes though, it becomes too.. irritating. But what must be done, must be done. Would I recomend them for a starter company? Absolutely. My complaint would be that I only see 2100-2400 miles a week. The truck will run 65, 05 379 and all.. getting 5.9 mpg. It has the tell-tale green sticker and all, but I won't complain that it's going too fast. I do agree that I wish they didn't cut the balls off so bad that it doesn't like climbing hills.

For the new guys, eager as ever to get out of training and in that truck of your own..

I was there. I wanted nothing more than to get that truck of my own. Now that I have been driving, I find that I needed more/better training. And talking with some fellow May drivers, they concur. My personal dealings was with a religious zealot whom insisted I recieve a bible lesson or three a day. Not my style. He was there to convert, not to train. But as I said, when others beyond me lack, it says something. Do the most amount of backing possible. Ask every question you can think of, regardless of how stupid you deem it to be. I think I'd even be willing to go back a few days for some hard core training myself.

As is, if you see me around, C.B. handle of K.C., and I always have a KC Chiefs mini-helmet on the dash of my 379, 4131.

    Take care, be safe

    cpassey Thanks this.
