I work for Mayfield Express and the owner let me log in to the company account to respond to this post. I'm sorry it's not up to par with you.

So you think it's cool to throw out personal information of a co-worker and name names? Are you a driver, or do you work in the office?

Not to yank your chain but if I were Dave, I would have told you not to bother responding to a thread that is a few months old.

I know Dave and the company, I know they don't screw people over but at the same time too many drivers in the expedite world seem to think it is all about making big bucks and not losing money.

    Meltom Thanks this.

I agree with the post concerning the ridiculous charges and the post employment stealing of your hard earned money. Dave is a great guy as long as you play along and by that I mean do as HE says regardless of Federal or State mandates. Once you give notice or try to, he's strictly by the book and wants to charge you for everything under the sun once you've left. The guy is a bully deluxe, a liar and a thief. He only stays with a company until THEY figure out what a liability he is and then probably don't renew his contract. I was with him at BOLT last year and found out after a few weeks that the guy is a real piece of work. If you are a professional driver, you are best advised to steer clear of this cat. He talks a good game because he's been in the biz long enough to learn a thing or two, will throw a little bit of money around buying you dinner and promise great earnings that never materialize. If an opportunity comes up to drive one of his trucks, do yourself a favor and take another day or two to really check this guy out. Ask to see the maintenance records for his trucks and contact the people at Bolt to see why his "Fleet" is no longer contracted.

    jeff18 Thanks this.
