As an update, They contacted me yesterday to set up an interview, so I will be on Skype next week.

I actually had to set up an account, as I never used it before. They sent an e-mail to help get it set up, so I guess its pretty common for someone to not have an account?

For those who work there, what questions do they ask during the interview? How long after the interview until MBI presents an offer?

So nobody knows what they will ask in the interview? Its in the morning, and I like being (overly) prepared for things.

I did a Skype interview with them almost a year ago. I don't remember much, but they are big on safety. I seem to remember a question about what I would do if I was almost out of hours and a dispatcher or pusher tried to send me on a long run. I think it took a week or two before I received a job offer.

I got the same question (similar). The answer is no, you inform dispatch that you are out of hours!

I think I did alright, we'll see how long it takes to hear back.

DOT regs put the burden of running legal on the driver. If you're caught running illegal you can't say "my dispatcher/supervisor told me to do it". YOU will get the fine, not your supervisor. If they tell you to run illegal it's up to you to say no.

That was fast... I verbally accepted an offer from MBI this afternoon; should have the packet within 48 hours they say.

I'll be in the Bakken in 3 weeks.

I could have started orientation as soon as May 26th, but there was no way I could get up there for their physical and performance test (whatever that entails) by this Thursday. I will start on June 16th instead, for a more relaxed pace at getting up there in my RV and finding a place for it.

They don't provide housing? Went to the yard awhile back in Charlotte when they were setting up here but never applied online. Always associated them with ND.

If you don't mind what is pay and schedule like?
