You earn every bit of it, lots of people forget that.

I got a new route this week (which i'll probably lose, I'm low on the totem pole) it took every second of my 14 on monday (and at my 30 minute break the magic elves unloaded the truck)

and I've done this route before, it just takes time.

    Jayb247956 Thanks this.

Yep, me too, about 250 pieces an hour on a non-idiotic stop (where you don't have to do something dumb like wheel around 6 buildings or whatever).

And NO ONE (esp MBM) gives a (*&%$ about the driver's time.

    McKlakin and Mike2633 Thank this.

Ain't that the truth. They will pay you for everything you do, as long as the product is delivered. And product comes before anything! And I mean anything.

yeah, I've decided that MBM is a warehouse company who happens to have some trucks. They CARE about the warehouse. Transportation, trucking, distribution, just make it happen, not our thing don't bother us.

I saw one of you MBM guys today at the Red Lobster on Orange Ave in Beechwood, Ohio. Guy had a huge pallet stacked 10 feet tall if not more I swear in the parking lot of Red Lobster and a two wheeler next to it and a couple Red Lobster people standing out side looking at it.

Yes, I did just got back from a two day route in Michigan. They asked me to run a shuttle to Indianapolis tomorrow alone. I do like the job a lot very physical but I like that. I appreciate all the advice and help from people on here. Really helped me know what to expect. Lol!

Don't get stuck on a shuttle, doesn't pay enough. It's all about the piece count. I got sent on a shuttle on my 2nd day. by myself. I never even went out on a training run before being sent on 2 shuttles.

oh and just get thru the first month, remember it's a seniority system, so busting butt doesn't really pay off, surviving does. (plus you get a raise at the end of the month)

I'm beginning to think that all centers are more alike than they claim (cluster####itis)

I'm just doing the one shuttle till my driver can get back with me. He had to take over someone's truck because they got pulled over with suspended license.
