What happens w/ the 1/4 inch boost line from the turbo to d/s of engine when you do 6nz ecm swap?? what other changes need to e made when swapping ecms?
-
Well that line goes to the fuel filter base, there is a valve there controlling boost. You need disconect that valve from the wiring harness once running a 6NZ program. You can either run the wastegate line to your turbos compressor housing (which will most likely be needed to be drilled and tapped) or just leave the line as is, there is another hard line that goes from the head to the filter housing, get rid of that line and in its place put a barb fitting in the head and run your wastegate line from that source connected with the hard line going around the engine and back to the wastegate.

thanks, those are the only changes that need to be made?
-
Pretty much, unless you still have the factory mufflers then dump em.
-
