ok cool. I gotcha. So why not just get a different none wastegated exhaust housing and solve the problem unless your pushing that much boost where it is needed to keep the impeller in tact?

 

There isn't a non-wastegated housing to fit the stock turbo. Most everybody doesn't want to spend the money to upgrade the turbo to a better design at the sametime, so this is why you block the wastegated turbo line.

is there a better exhaust manifold i can put on a mbn 525?
