Ya, I did. Sitting in Hubbard, OH which is a great spot for flatbed freight. Still here this morning. I was hoping for a long run but the only things are 350 to 450 miles. What the heck!!! There was always freight to WA and OR but nothing.

Those are easy money. Why run clear across the country from a great spot when you could criss cross right there and stay right on the money?

Sometimes its nice to just get out and drive for three days, as long as the money is right.

But I agree with you for the most part, the shorter stuff is usually where the best money is.

If he is using a credit card for fuel he is having to pay 6 cents more per gallon. Adds up to a lot over a year.

I took a load from Florida to Utah. Once I got west it was very peaceful with no traffic and nothing but scenery. I think once a month trip out there to clear ya mind would be suffice.

We ended up getting our own authority because we wanted to be leaders not puppets. I want to thank everyone for their feedback!

If you have a rewards credit card, the cash back you get from the purchase equals more than the 5-6 cents.

That or a fuel card that gets you 10-18 cents off the cash price is the way to go. I use both
