    I have 3 trucks that have been leased to a trucking company for some time now.After doing the math lately I am paying around 4k in percentage of dispatch only so I came to the conclusion that I can dispatch the trucks and give the 4k to myself as a salary and have more control over the choice of loads.I was about to open up a new MC but the insurance quotes are quite high for a new one so the logical choice is to purchase someone's old MC.Must be active for at least 2-3 years with good safety score and no accidents or claims.

    if he is willing to pay how is that a shortcut? seems like a better plan than hauling leftovers for 3 plus years.

    It very much depends on the record and age.up to10k for well established no newer than 880xxx with good score.My main concern is the insurance cost not the "reputation I don't deserve"
