I drive in tacoma wa with mclane, work for your money... good pay. Automatic trucks suck sometimes but its not bad...they have drive cams in the trucks which will help if your in a no fault accident but are told your at fault. They can review it. Youll sign every paper when the camera goes off due to rolling stops, hard turns etc. Kind of a pain signing everything. I do 3 routes a week my kids use to it etc... i bring home 1250 wk during winter, and 1700 a week in sumertime...

I deliver grocery stores on a daily basis and have no difficulties with my customers. Sure you get a whiner here and there, but it's truly about how you approach them. Their job sucks with long hours and low pay, if you make conversation, be friendly, and smile you won't have any problems most of the time.

I know it's kind of an old thread but here is my input. I work for Mclane grocery in Utah which is a domicile off of Colorado. Yes you bust your ### every shift, our average load during summer is around 35000 pounds with most of that being 2 wheeled down a ramp. I work 4 nights a week about 11ish hours a night cause we are fast and before taxes make about 1600 a week. Winter routes are a lot lighter and pay a lot less so it's not steady pay but we are guaranteed 1000 a week. I am currently looking for a new job cause of my coworkers. A bunch of whiny A holes and my partner causes to many problems due to his mood swings. 711 employees are also a nightmare to deal with with the new 711 bt check in. Not a fast process and you don't get paid hourly so it takes longer to check in all the crap you take in the store. So to sum it up, good pay and benefits but the customers will suck the life out of you unless you speak multiple languages ohh and find a good partner with a good attitude cause that is who you will spend your nights with. One more thing most loads are like sifting through wreckage to find survivors. Warehouse constantly hiring new people
