You had channing as well. I may have talked to you before Christmas. Channing died after the first of the year. I left by the end of January. They were trying to get me to run illegal again.

Has anyone had any experience with Transport Services? My husband is taking his physical with them on Tues. He has a choice between ADM or Transport Services. Any opinions on either. I like ADM's benefits.
Thanks for any feedback -

My name is Brigette and I work for a law firm who represents a woman who was hit by a McLeod truck. We have filed a law suit against McLeod Express, LLC. I was curious if it would be okay for one of the attorney's at our office to contact you to discuss you post ie: negative issues of McLeod Express. If you don't mind being contacted please forward me your phone number. I greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Who are you trying to contact? -
I'm trying to contact anyone who has previously worked for McLeod Express, LLC and would be willing to give us information regarding what you witnessed while working there ie: poor equipment maintenance, pushing drivers to work over the limit, etc. Our client was struck by a McLeod Express truck and severely injured. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to call me directly if you don't mind being contacted by one of our attorney's to discuss. 913-266-2300.
Thanks,

Dear Brigette;
I just happened to stumble upon these posting threads about Mcleod and couldn't believe my eyes! I totally agree with everything people have been saying. McLeod was the worst trucking company I've ever worked for, hands down.
I finally quit them in March when they came up with a new reason for not paying the $800/wk guarantee. I actually stayed with them for 15 months. When I first signed on to work for them I had narrowed my choice to two companies and the main reason I chose Mcleod was because the recruiter said that I'd make it to the west coast occasionally.The farthest west I ever went was to Western Nebraska and that happened only once. Other than that I was mostly in and around Illinois, which, needless to say, got boring fast!
The way I finally departed ways was one of the most depressing experiences I've ever had.My dispatcher had told me that when I turned the truck keys in there would be a rental car available for me to get home (I live 7 hours from Decatur). The Saturday that I arrived in Decatur to turn in the truck it was raining and there were a couple of jokers working in dispatch. They told me that as soon as I was ready, to call them and they would get a taxi for me to take to the rental car company. So, that's what I did. The taxi showed up and took me to Hertz (or whatever the company is that McLeod used for this purpose). They were closed!
So, I had to pay the cab driver to take me back to Mcleod! Long story short, there was no rental car so I had to call my wife to come pick me up and McLeod didn't even entertain the notion of reimbursing me for the expense of that.
The people in the office in Decatur are all pretty rude.I basically was just biding my time with them. If I can help you in any way I'd be glad to. My cell phone number is . Right now I'm in a public library but if you leave me a message I'd be glad to call you back.
Sincerely,

I know of many drivers who had no choice but to back their logs up to meet the ridiculous times they had on the loads.
Many of the loads I ran, I could not stop to use the restroom or eat.
Not sure if I want to get involved, but I could not stand to work even 4 months with the way they were running and wanted to run me.
