Well it's my first day here but if you don't want to be talked to like a child I'd rethink coming to orientation here... The facility is nothing like it's shown on website... Currently have been treated like I'm stupid or I'm 15. Btw I'm 45.... So far very unprofessional....

I hate being talked down to by anyone.
Especially some company employee that has most likely never stepped foot in a truck, and is only there to explain company policies, procedures, and to collect paper work.
I'm never hard-pressed enough to put up with demeaning behavior...and too proud to sit there and take it. I would walk.
If the guy/gal that is there to orientate you, and welcome you to the company treats you that way...what are the people like that you'll be dealing with daily.

On a side note...the orientation director COULD be having an "off" day (we all do from time to time)...so giving it another day might be wise. If their babysitter attitude doesn't change by orientation ' end, I'd be weary about accepting a truck or load.
    That's just me.

McLeod used to deliver to our major customers at my previous job. Trucks and trailers were pretty ragged and the drivers seemed like they couldn't give a **** less about their jobs or anything for that matter. Never talked to one because I never encountered one capable of having a conversation lol. Enough for me to stay far away

I worked for a company that used to deal with a lot of McLeod drivers. They finally got so sick of their incompetence they dropped them after a year or so and found someone else. I worked as an overnight shuttle driver/spotter. I saw McLeod have 3 incidents in 7-8 months where they backed into things in the drop lot, one time knocking out the power and shutting us down. If they were successful in backing into a spot, they had one jagoff who would drop his trailer so high you couldn't hook up to the trailer without having to dolly it down manually. After several complaints to said driver from our crew and our bosses, they finally had to ban him from coming to the facility. Saw a guy once who was too lazy to raise his landing gear and when he made a turn into a downgrade, he completely destroyed it and was picking up the legs off the road lol.

That company has always had a crap reputation around here, I'd heard about them when I was a rookie and later on in life saw it first-hand. Do yourself a favor and RUN!!!
