Easiest if you do it the start of every year along with everything else that's done then.

 

Yep. Mine ends in a 1 so that's January. The second to last number is the odd or even year. Mine is 0 so It's Jan. 2026. I've been doing it every year like you, but now with this system being down I was going to skip it for 2025 since I don't need to do it anyway.

 

This is making me nervous. So if I filed 9/23 and my DOT number ends in a 2 when it says I need to file by February. February of 2024? Because I guess I’m over due as well.

 

Safer page used to have a notice right on the snapshot page if it was overdue: doesn’t show on yours.
Used to take a long time (over a calendar year) for them to pull the dot # idk what changed

 

Pretty silly system. I usually update it around when my plates are due. Guess I forgot this year. Oh well.
