I paid OOIDA to file mine on the 22nd of January......Ive been checking it for the past 9-10 days..still hasn't updated.

I have been trying to process the MCS-150 online. I remember how simple it was online. Until this year. The FMCSA decides to prevent someone else from updating my biennial report. I/We have to do a two layer authentication log in. Also, if I understand the process. The report can't be accomplished by just logging in, review the information and click, click, click change the mileage and the reporting year. And be done.
Now, If I understand correctly, I have to download the MCS-150 print it. Send it back as a pdf. Wait for some internet person to respond.
I did email OOIDA about the process. Their reply essentially said the process changed. DUH. They wouldn't give me the procedure, BUT they offered to complete the task for $40.00. Thanks for the help OOIDA.
I usually file every year, mine isn't due until next year. I have enough time to (hopefully) figure it out.Siinman, nikmirbre, Con707904 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Siinman Thanks this.

Since it hadn't updated yet and since my DOT number ends in 1, im supposed to update it by the end of last month. Although I did submit it in time it hadn't been processed /updated yet..at some point should I expect FMCSA to deactivate my DOT number?
Wait....EDIT to add.....my DOT number end in 81...so I file on EVEN numbered years.....!!! -
They deactivated mine after a month or so going over the due date. Been over a month since it was deactivated and I still haven't got it straightened out. Sent in multiple 150 forms since then, got rejected twice for not checking the right box or some such nonsense. Finally got it accepted a few days ago now I have to wait for some manager type to review my form and reactive my dot number

Just a few years ago, when I had paperwork problems I could go to an office building and get it cleared up in a couple hours.
Now they don't allow any persons in the building unless you work there.
And to compound problems now, most Q&A issues require email. They won't solve problems with a phone call.
Our tax dollars at work. Because government personnel work remote, not from the buildings we pay taxes to run.
Hope you get it solved soon. -
xsetra Thanks this.
