Thank you, I am glad someone agrees she needs to learn on a manual her first year. Or at least for a while so she knows how.

Most definitely. My wife can't drive an auto, even with a manual override, LoL~! ;)

Did you all look into West Side Transport? I know a lady that's a trainer over there....she was actually 'trained' by her other half two years ago. They accomodate teams, but aren't exclusively such. Mention Susan D. if you contact them.

Just shot their recruiting dept. an email and let them know what I wamt to do and some details on my experience. We will see what they say. I have emails and calls into a few companies just waiting to hear back.

Ok so its down to J&R Schugel, Grandview Enterprises, and Knight Transportation right now. I have called and talked to a bunch of companies and they are the only ones so far that run all over the country, do reefer, will let me train my wife with little time at the company, and will take her with the ticket she has from 2015. She got a 17 over the speed limit ticket so a lot of companies want her to wait until its 3 years old. I dont want to wait that long so they are out.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

I got approved for J&R Shugal. They said I can train the wife after she is done with school. Set up for orientation on Monday, September 25th. They had the best pay and such for the companies that would let me train the wife. They also have APUs and will install a power inverter for you.

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Congrats! Though, with any luck, you and the wife probably won't need the APU much. The inverter is great for cooking. A fridge would be super if you run real hard.

    Sleepy3103 Thanks this.
