    Yes.
But Davenport IA is not even close to being high risk.

I'm just wondering why Trygg's DM and such are being SO anal about letting him take a little home time there.

If the polar ice caps melt like in a hurry and the sea level rises around the time of the 500 year flood there is a strong possibility that the truck stop might wash away.

There's more truth in that statement than you may have intended ... Davenport regularly gets flooded very few years in the spring.

I know I grew up near Dubuque, IA in the middle of cornfields. I remember the flood of 93, that was crazy.

To be fair, I grew up in a WI cornfield. Shocking right?

The river front areas of Davenport and Bettendorf, IA, and Moline and Rock Island, IL can flood, where those truckstops are is quite a ways up the hill, but parking near the casinos might get flooded. Tons of places to park there, though, and it's not a high crime area.

They might be worried because of where the terminal is, I wouldn't know about that. Manteno is near St.Louis, I think.

The Quad Cities is a nice area, with some pretty drives along the rivers. There is some good advice from people who would know in this thread, but the bottom line is the company may not to be reasonable, in this case the DM.
