I'll bet THAT was a hair raising experience for the lady in the Geo Metro! :biggrin_2551:

I remember reading about a Big truck truck driver who didn't see a guy in a wheelchair crossing the street in front of him, and gave him a 50 mph ride I doubt he'll soon forget. :biggrin_25512:
Fortunately, the guy in the wheelchair wasn't injured. Just shaken up, as I'm sure we all can imagine.

This sounds like the movie"Duel", in which a crazy trucker was trying to kill a motorist[Dennis Weaver], by running into him.

My husband pulled over on a 2 lane back woods highway to check one of the trailers and then got back in. The highway has a lot of small hills and he was doing his best to get up to speed when a pickup started tailgating him. When a clear spot came up the pickup hit it and went around my husband, hitting his brakes to slow down.

Then over the CB the guy in the pickup told my husband that if he didn't back off, he'd hit the brakes and put his pickup into my husband's front grill. My husband told this nutcase to go right ahead and let's see who'd win THAT fight. The guy in the pickup took off.

I have had this happen to me in my Silverado, those small cars tail gate me so close, that I cannot even see them, when I finally do, I tap the breaks, and they move back quickly!!!:yes2557:

well americantrucker I see it didn't take you long to get banned and rightly so with comments like that. I have done that very thing just flat lost the car then forgot they were there. Was it profetional heck no but we are all human. It is a credit to you for not trying to stop the truck with your car. you might have been hurt then. If that driver knew you were there or would have remembered he wouldn't have gotten that close to you. By all rights he should have backed off when he let you in but he didn't. You kept your head and did the right thing thank goodness you were not hurt. I hope he will try to look you up to apoligize and pay the bill. No it isn't a game a driver would ever play. We value lifew just as much and more than most people do.

    AfterShock Thanks this.
