Try passing through Indiana at 2 in the morning and tell me how terrible it is with no cars on the road.

I thought we were discussing condition of roads not traffic, no?I passed IN many times at all times of day and night. At 2am even Chicagoland is a breeze.
I like Chicagoland at night. Speed limit 55,I am doing 65 and next to me sheriff passing me at well over 70.

Why is everyone saying he hit the bridge???

Isn't it obvious that he's moving it to another location?

I did something like that once. I accidentally made a wrong turn and ended up on a Parkway up in Connecticut and when I came up to a low bridge I had to come to a complete stop and set my four ways and call Connecticut DOT to escort me out of there.
Actually I guess it was a couple times. I forgot about the time I had to back up a set of doubles about a mile because I came up to a low bridge on a narrow residential street

One driver's account posted here. "bounced out of the bunk to find the truck barreling down the grassy median! He lurched to the dash and pulled the brakes." Sleeping driver woke and asked why he did that?

It is getting a little better. As far as potholes. Still the same number of accidents that can stop all traffic for hours.

You best be doing 65 at least when traversing the south or west side expressways at that hour. That is the prime gang shootin' hours

I agree Indiana roads suck, run them a lot, I 65 is terrible, but heading east on I 94 thru Indiana to Michigan once you cross the State line those 1st 3-4 miles are absolutely ridiculous, That's one hell of a Michigan welcome.
Also the Indiana toll road just doubled the cost to run that road

Are you effing kidding me, about the tolls?????? Sheesh... I'll STAY intrastate. Yeah, I know the Michigan route as well; don't miss ANY of that. Y'all may make a bit more coin doing that.. at twice your age; I'm good. ;)
