13 speeds are better in the hills.
-
Agreed and so would be having 355 rears.
But i don't have either
I have 336 rears with an Ultra shift 10 rated at 485hp.
So to get the best performanace what should I do with what i have?
Anyting I can with Turbo boost?
RPMs?
Tranny shifting?
Programming?
Etc...? -
Unless you want to start replacing parts you're pretty much maxed out with what you have. All you can really do is tweak the parameters suggested above. Your transmission is already maxed out in terms of torque so if you juice up the engine you're risking powertrain failures.
-
What kind of boost you getting? Should get 32-36 PSI.
-
Yes that is what Im getting on Boost.
Just was wondering if there was any more 'tricks" up the sleeve I could do.
Guess not.
Ill have them adjust the Tranny next week. -
I have a shuttering go on in my mx13 epa10 2012 386 peterbilt so short story. When I shift up through the gears in the top holes it starts shuttering and I loose power up shift and down shift going up grades. Have to get out of the throttle to let it catches its breath or it will not stop shuttering. Absolutely no check engine light and it is not consistent!!!

Did you ever get it figured out? I have same exact problem with my 2012 kw t660 epa10. I've replaced transmission, driveline, new tires, rear motor mounts. Got me stumped! -
Vibration or a miss? Aftertreatment intact?
