I understand what you are talking about. However, there are others that may not. This is checked by what is called a pulse oximeter. It is a small clip that goes on the end of the finger and uses infrared light to measure these oxygen levels. A normal level is in the 95 to 100 % range. When I take an exam at the VA they test me. I have some other issues and my best readings are around 92% I have been as low as 88%.

Nothing wrong with a debate. People on both sides of a debate can learn new things, as well as others that are paying attention. Debates are bad when the people debating start the cheap shots and name calling.

I once worked for a man that told me clearly if I ever think he is full of (redacted) because of something he said or done to tell him. I can't abide a yes man and butt kissers only get you in trouble he said. I might not agree with a person, but I will always respect a knowledgeable debater EVEN if I don't agree with their position. As to shady doctors that is a problem!

 

Yes,Basically I was saying(might not have mentioned it) ,but driving with Real Sleep Apnea is Not Good...personally think the system is "abused" to push these warehouse Full of Hannibal Lecture Sleep Machines though.If you truly have Sleep Apnea they claim these machines will "help you live longer" ...like Wilford Brimley" My dtiver buddy...drove a Log Truck for 12 years in "Worst conditions imaginable" and emerged unscathed.Never fell aslleep...but MRO's started "leaning on him" because he was 64 and had a large neck.

 

This might be helpful and this guy has lot of videos about sleep apnea. He even talks about scams in sleep apnea and explain lots of stuff like can people lose weight and get off CPAP.

 

You don't need all that recording. Get a wife.

She will let you know if there is a problem with your sleeping.
