Medical Card Changes - US Xpress

    What rhyme or reason would U.S. Xpress have for insisting that a person only have a 1 year medical card when they are perfectly able to get a 2 year medical card?

    So, just got back from a random, cute little poster on the wall, showing the regs. because your bp is controlled by meds, therefore you are considered to have a history of hypertension, therefore, you can only have a 1 yr card. IF, you did not have a history of being hypertensive, then you could have a 2 yr card.

    key word in the regs is SHOULD.... not REQUIRE...."A driver with a diagnosis of hypertension on treatment should have at least an annual certification." the clinic doctors you see aren't even qualified treat high blood pressure
