Will do. What about just walking out if I don’t like the results. Can they tell my company I was uncooperative and refused. I know refusing a drug test can kill your career, what about a DOT physical?

If you leave the physical your not going to get the job, I guess you could decide to to accept the job, then there fore you would not need the pre hire physical. You have to be careful where you post what you never know who read this on line. I had a company I was going to go to work for they sent me for a pre hire physical and the clinic was outside of the rules, such as giving you only 4 minutes to give the sample, and I walked, did not get the job job I never put either one down on a application either. Your not required to give up information just because someone wants it, like when they ask all the companies you have applied for, not there business. Just leave it off.

Kind of like don't incriminate yourself with the stupid sleep apnea questions.

I was under the impression clinics were supposed to upload the results in to the system somehow.

    Haven't seen it happen yet.

Thats purposed for the future but as of now they are not doing that as yet, here its up to the driver as far as I know. My most recent medical was about 3 weeks ago, and I took it to DMV, 4th one this year.

It’s a dedicated run in Northern California. No touch, home daily with very occasional over night over night deliveries. 1400 a week full benefits. Right now I make about 1100 a week in class C no benefits and I work 12 hour days so it’s definitely a step up

DMV already has it. They can tell everyone you have been to. Newest one overides all others, so if you fail a new one that's it.

Most places that have you take one at their clinic or Dr. do it trying to make sure they hire a person that's capable for the job.

I used to manage a panel of medical providers and Concentra was one of them. I interacted with the office and physicians daily up until a year and a half ago when I quit that job and got into the VERY different world of trucking. Here are my comments on what has been said so far in this thread:
Specialists - Concentra can recommend a specialist exam, if they do, just tell them you can't do that because you have no insurance, and you need this job to get insurance, and if they recommend a specialist exam, you won't get this job. Most physicians would understand, I think.

If they do recommend a specialist anyway, DO NOT go to one of theirs!! And tell them you are going to someone else. PM me if you want to know more about that.

Chinatown mentioned taking Metformin pills. These are for diabetes, not high blood pressure pressure, and take up to 5 days to work anyway. So don't do that. If you are determined to take a pill, Take Lisinopril. The other advice seems fine
    .
As far as I know, (at least in this state) Concentra does NOT fax or transmit in any way your physical exam info to the DMV or any other government department. They DO transmit it to the potential employer however. (Think about it - what government agency would have the time or wherewithal to check on medical exams?)

The potential employer can use this information to hire you or not to hire you, and there is no such thing as you having a right to refuse and exam because you have a current medical card. At-will employment still exists, and if the employer doesn't want to hire you they won't, and can't be forced to.
Anyway, good luck with your exam!
