Tx sent mine to another state twice. My home state examiner back then when I took it told me they send electronically to employer & DMV.

Had the DMV & my former employer tell me they had already got it electronically , but I still turned it in.

Not true here in Ca. Just turned in my most recent to DMV, they told at DMV at least here in CA, that it is up to the driver to bring it in to DMV, I had a DOT physical I walked out of about 3 months ago, a pre employment, I did not get the job obviously, but it did not show up at DMV either as a refused.Last edited: Oct 15, 2019

I personally wont be worrying about any sleep study. I don't care if they label me non compliant. Im too old to be dealing with stupid stuff like that. And where I am in life if it impacts my ability to continue driving in a negative way? Thats ok too. Ive had a lifetime of that bs anyhow.

I agree, I'm just not going to play that game, not required by DOT anyway.

Up to driver but they got a copy from examiner already. Been that way for 2 years .

OK, I am no expert on the subject, but I ask the doctor, since these now have to be registered with the state, why are they not required to register them. His answer was he did not know, BUT what they were required to do was register a cancellation with the state of your old physical, even if it was 3 days old.

I called the company cause I wasn't able to get back up north to turn it in . it would of been a couple of weeks I was gonna fax it. She said just turn in when you get back that they already got new one I said what about DMV she said they got it too

I had my commercial priveledges suspended this past year because I registered mine online, instead of physically walking in to the dmv and register it like I always have since we had to start registering them, so I know for a fact that the doctor did not register it.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Just wondering ...
A driver has a two year card. As a new hire the company says go to is doc ... and he gets a one year card ... and he doesn't report the new card ... so a year passes, the company says "hey time for your dot, go here " and the driver ignores the company because he has a two year .. and the company tells him "no med don't drive for us any more.
Then what?
