So if you are issued a 3 month medical card for a punctured ear drum what happens after that ? How many times can you be issued a 3 month card ?is this really a serious issue?

You can be issued a 3 month card for the rest of your life. Just have to renew it every 3 months. Yours for the eardrum, once it heels, and your hearing returns, you may be returned to a 1 or 2 year card.
