Moderators, perhaps this could be docked?

For anyone new to driving, if you have any medical condition, no matter how slight or vague, get documentation to the effect that it is not a restriction and was/is being treated. If something turns up at a DOT physical at the orientation, you may end up being sent home to get documentation, and having to delay your start by a week or more.

Example, I had a heart attack in 2000. No issues since, but after almost getting sent home for documentation one time, I now keep a copy of my latest stress test results and a 'No limitations' note from my cardio Dr. on hand.

    JustSonny Thanks this.
