I have had the stupid worthless Obama Care insurance for the last few years and have basically given up on using it. Anyone have any decent luck with anything else? I seen JBHunt has partnered up with True North. Any other places that give discounts that might be worth checking into?

Why is ObamaCare worthless? They have tons of plans to choose from, you can pick whatever suits you best (for a cost of course)

We used to get our health insurance through the local Chamber of Commerce back before ACA.

It doesn't cover much and I have to fight every time to try and get a MRI. Tired of dealing with them as they never approve anything that my doctor wants to do.

I have a bad nerve area in my hip that has been damaged for 15 years and have tried to get a MRI on it for over two years now with that insurance. They keep denying it because they want me to go through 10 weeks of physical therapy for no reason. This cannot be fixed by doing that and they refuse to listen to the doctor. I have already paid for one MRI out of pocket just to get it going and I dont like paying for stuff when my insurance is suppose to cover it.

I have had one of the best plans you can get and it is stupid to pay $650 a month for something that will not work with me. Also had many problems with my pain meds for this exact issue and had to pay for it for almost a full year while fighting them. Finally got them to pay for it but they still refuse to let me do an MRI. I have had nothing but trouble dealing with them and just tired of fighting over everything with them. This is the simple break down of only a couple issues.

It’s open enrollment right now. Shop around. Compare plans. Doesn’t matter if it’s through the marketplace or not. It’s not like you only have one choice. The whole industry is represented on the marketplace. If old insurance was excellent, why not buy it now? It’s your choice. You’re going to have out of pocket expenses till you make the deductible.

    Siinman and JonJon78 Thank this.
