During a level one. Carry it or not. Your choice. You could have to wait until it is faxed from the carrier who might not be working that day.

I think we know which is which. You don't have to insuate you are smarter than everyone else with big letters to get your point across. If you read a little more carefully. Straight off the FMSCA websites FAQ's
I would think the long form and any waivers would be supporting documents. I was like you and didn't think you needed it because it's on the carrier's and doctor's file. After reading the FMSCA website I'm convinced different.
It still ain't a big deal. It's a piece a paper you keep in your truck. If other drivers said they had to present it, I believe them.Last edited: Dec 24, 2010

Sorry you dont like the big letters, maybe I did it for the vision impaired folks or the simple minded sheeple. Its your call.
And it is a big deal even if you thinks its not, but I'll call the U.S. Marshals monday and get to the bottom of this, after all I've heard of drivers getting them involved with problems at scales house, and I believe them too. :smt117123456 Thanks this. -
They can ask for anything they want to on an inspection but that doesn't mean you have furnish it. you still didn't answer the question asked which was did they request the long form or did they demand it with the threat of incarceration or a ticket?

Like I said.
Carry it or not, your choice. As stated, it is a supporting document.
Once was when I was wearing glasses, but my drivers license does not have a restriction. They demanded to know what was on the medical form.
I do not recall EXACT WORDING for any of the inspections I have had in the last two years.
After all, I have had 6.
Does it really matter? -
The lady at the scale house in WV asked me for my long form, which I didn't have with me. She said that it wasn't a big deal then, but under csa2010 it would be a large fine if they wanted it and I didn't have it so I'd better start carrying it with me. That's what I know about it.

Seems to me,
it takes up way to much room, otherwise folks would carry a copy with them !!!
I mean, Really !!!!
