Oh, that sounds fun. Last time I went to the DMV, my license ended up with so many errors on it that I went back twice getting things corrected and my address is still wrong.

Currently the rules do state that you must carry your certificate and ALL supporting documents. Does that mean just waivers? ALL would make me think the long form too. After all it is a supporting document.
This will all change by 2014.CAXPT Thanks this. -
Why all the argueing? Carry a copy of the long form with you problem solved. It's like flatbedding if 1 chain is good 2 is better. Common sense should prevail not all these buts and what ifs.

I think the real question is, is this requirement legal?
And if so, I believe truckers should ban together and fight this.
I'm so sick of regulations and laws that apply to truck drivers that don't apply to other professions?!
I find this requirement to not only be very intrusive, but also allow an employer the opportunity to successfully get away with discriminating against a driver.
Honestly, your employer now knows exactly what you and your medical doctor discussed about you health?
How does this not violate hippa?
What about a driver that has HIV, or knee replacements that wouldn't prevent him or her from doing the job, but now gets released for some other alleged reason?
If a person has a valid dot medical card that should be enough.
I see no reason why your employer should know when your last colonoscopy was, or if you'd been hospitalized for a miscarriage?
Where does it end? I'm just saying.....
