mega Carrier's

    JDP is right on. We have access to capital to go and add 50 trucks in the next couple of months. But we would never be able to be the same company in doing that. We will likely max out at that level but it will be a slow and steady pace so that we can continue to provide the level of service that has positioned ourselves with access to opportunities and rates that few have access to.

    Another area that Mega carriers are feeling the pinch is in CSA scores. That a shipper never had to consider the risk in the past on any meaningful level. Now companies like Walmart are telling mega carriers that they need to approve drivers that are dedicated to their accounts because of overall poor scores. This positions small carriers with good scores to get a piece of that business that was never available in the past.
