Thanks for the reply Aireal, if you don't mind me asking what did your husband end up making last year with Melton. I looked at the film again and your right that's why the wind was giving him a fit.

I would give you an answer, but he hasn't worked at Melton that long. He actually started in Oct. I realized after rereading my previous post I made it sound like he has worked their longer and I didn't mean to.

I will answer anything I can honestly and as I read the posts to my husband and get answers from him, most of it comes from him. We have nothing to gain from our good opinion of Melton and if that opinion changes, nothing to lose from that.

LOL I have nothing better to do while he is driveing and the forum gives us something to talk about.

Yes, very few drivers do not help, especially if it's a Melton driver. Not saying I haven't come across any that don't, just saying there are few. I've even helped/been helped by other companies--Prime, TMC, Maverick..it's always good to help, because you can see how they secure their load--maybe its something you have never done and had questions on; maybe its something you have, but he had it a way that was easier/more practical; maybe he is a newer driver than you and needed help but was too afraid to ask.

I posted it once, maybe it was in a different thread. I grossed over 50 last year, and I took probably 2.5 months total days home time

When I first started with Melton I was mostly in the northeast and Midwest, lately it has been the south east and Midwest. I live out west and the only time I ever see west of i35 is on the way home. Which in all reality isn't that bad if you like running out east. Stay busy for sure. Personally I hate everything from Ohio over to the east coast.
