Melton Trucking

Hello all. I just wanted to start a new discussion about Melton trucking. I am new to the OTR world and this is a good time for me to let you know my rookie expirence about this company I choose to go with. I havent seen to many post about this flat bed company so hopefully I can give you some insight on oreintation.

I will be starting with them this coming weekend after thanksgiving. So far all I have to share is I have done tons for homework and joining a good company and I refuse to go with swift, transam, Stevens.

Melton is giving me $400 for four days of oreintation, not to shabby plus $70 a day with a trainer.

I just ran across something interesting on google maps. I was just messing around wanted to check out the area I'm going to at melton in alabama this weekend. I put in the address in google and did the satellite view, zoomed in a couple times at the yard and it looks like a tornado / hurricaine passed threw it. The entire site is trashed and multiple trailers are "capsized " .

If anyone knows when this happend to Melton in Alabama let us know. Looks pretty deviating. Here is the address.
