Melton vs PGT Please Help

I've worked for companies that don't have state tax but my address was in a state that had state tax, what would you have to do to prove you live on the road more than your home state, i questioned this at my last job where i spent most time on the road but had to pay high state taxes at home, i thought about using a friends address in a tax free state but never did. anyone know how do get around this legally would be appreciated.

 

if you don't want to have a problem getting home it also makes a difference if you live near a customer that a certain company delivers to, i live near 2 or 3 major dist centers, so it helps to know if a certain company even delivers there, if your worried about whether they can get you home easily. example: i talked to a heartland driver who lived near philly, he seemed to be happy and got home at the same time every wknd and left out of the same place every monday, I'm not interested in heartland but if i lived where he lived it might make a difference like it did for him.there are alot of factors involved, only you know the answers. the same would apply if you bought your own truck and wanted to get loads home. good luck
