Melton, Whatcher 20

made it about 20 miles away from cons by dallas. theres a closer truck stop about 2 miles from cons, but says it has 40 parking spots. not really goin to chance it because its already 1730, the one i am at is almost full with 100+ parkings.

so you guys see anything weird stuck to someones grill?
this morning the truck next to me had a bat...a full on bat stuck to the grill. wings spread and everything. ive had some gnarly bugs and pretty sure a bird hit my truck one day, but that was weird to see.

 

I had a bird get stuck to my grill once. Left him there for the trip. I even named him. "Slow".

 

It's been too darn quiet in here lately... everybody quit or something!?

Nashua IA tonight. After 4 days of sitting with a 420 mile load, I get a 900 mile load to tx

 

are this happen frequently? no good miles anymore?

 

Off home time. Picked up in Mason, MI. Now sitting at the second shipper for a morning load, then to Cedar Falls, VA.

 

this is the first time I've had anything like this happen with Melton. They generally keep me moving. I rarely get a 34, and usually drive at least 400 miles every day unless shipper or con messes up my clock.

Or recap. Had that happen a few times. But was mostly issues with truck that messed up recap.

 

Jsprocket, you probably get to go to CASS in Oakland after you deliver. It's like 30 miles north. Been there yet? You'll have a blast! Lol
