The time away can be somewhat painfully if your not use to it. I was military for 22 years and was gone a lot which made the transition to OTR fairly easy for me. But you would be hard pressed to find a local job that would pay as well. There are things that make it easier. I call home everyday even if its for just a few minutes. Getting your bill payed automatic also helps me with that kinda of stuff. Just one less thing to worry about.

Had a busy couple of days. Delivered my load Thursday in Tacoma. Then apparently we had a load that got.delivered to the wrong cons. So I had to run up to Seattle pickup 2 pieces take it 12 miles away in downtown Seattle unload. Pickup 6 Pieces there and take it back to the 1st I loaded and empty. Then run up to genie and pick up for a 3 stopper headed to San Diego. Finally got a run that is letting me get a 34. I requester guaranteed home time and they are getting me back a week early. I had to explain that I need to be home at my requested time. And I don't want to take a whole week off. So gonna have to see what can be done.

While going thru Seattle at 1 o'clock I was wondering if ppl there actually work or do they just decide to.drive around to clog up the highways. It was grid lock at 12:00 in the afternoon

They are sending me to Birmingham hopefully not trying to send me home. Only time I ever see Alabama or Georgia is to go home and don't want to yet.

Yea I want to stay til labor day weekend cause both my kids birthdays are beginning of September so I want some time for that. I had one and always lost air overnight, turned out to be the rubber thing on trailer for connection. Easy fix since I had some.

My leak is coming from a fitting on top of the transmission. Drains my primary tank in about an hour
