Melton, Whatcher 20

I've only been reading TTR a short while but it seems most of you guys are satisfied so far with Melton.

I've passed the phone interview and have a pending invite to Tulsa for early November.

I expect the securment and tarp work would be a great way to keep you strong and fit inbetween the highway miles.

Would I be correct?

 

It was their first day at site, one failed instant drug test they do so they couldn't operate at that location.

 

Ha! I bet the owner is mad as hell! One employee screwed it up for the whole company!

 

Well, it is work. Definitely. I've not lost weight, but I've probably replaced 30 pounds of fat with 30 pounds of muscle.

I pulled dry vans for one of the mega carriers for a year and a half before coming here. Been here over a year.

The problem I have is that now I can afford to eat. And I like food. Lol

I got a $20k per year pay increase by coming here. Not exagerating.

 

Did everyone quit!?

I'm taking 34 in post falls, del 1st stop Tuesday morning down the road and stop 2 and final on Wednesday outside Seattle. Then I should be headed home for the 8th.

 

Sitting at the Petro in Kingman, AZ. Deliver Tue in south LA. Hope to get a load up to OR or WA. Have a couple more weeks before I take that week of vacation to celebrate 35 yrs with my first wife.

 

Here's a question that I don't know the answer to.

Is our vacation rolled over? Or is it paid automatically at the end of the year?

 

Don't know the answer. Thought it was use it or lose it.

 

I guess I'll dig out the rule book. I have nothing better to do!
