    I don’t see how that would work. First of all barges aren’t all that stable, and second, it would cut off barge traffic up and down the river.

    How did it go? I went EB this morning too around 2:10am. Took 55 back to 40. Easy peasy, and never even slowed down.

    In Washington, they don't have to open it up for barge traffic to get through on that lake. They are not about to stop river traffic on the Mississippi at Memphis.

    Question I have is why can't the patch the bridge. They are saying the beam was cracked back in 2019. So for two years it hasn't fell in yet. Align beam back and weld 4 plates to hold it together.
