Bingo! Political Correctness is nothing more than a cleverly disguised form of Totalitarianism. Instead of the government dictating your speech, it's become your very own fellow Americans doing it. Step out of line and they will punish you. That's exactly what Bryan is doing just like millions of his accomplices.

You got it wrong bro. I'm only advocating for respect. I totally advocate for freedom. Everyone seems to think freedom means saying or doing whatever you want. Not even close. Freedom is more about liberation than anything. You should have the freedom of speech, but that doesnt entail blatant disrespect of people and their ways of life. I didn't know that dressing like someone from the hood automatically means they aren't entitled to respect. Sure perception may be reality, but is it jot better to reserve judgment until that individual reveals his/her intentions? Part of what makes America great is that you have the ability to express yourself however you want within reason. I teach my kids that with freedom, there is responsibility. It's about doing what's right, and it's about respecting everyone. If I heard my children talk the way some of you do, they would be severely punished, because it's disrespectful and in poor taste. I don't get down with the bashing of other people, cultures, and such. It's about respect and I push that hard.

Besides, everyone keeps saying that political correctness is a thing nowadays. I can't think of a time when it was ever ok to say out of line things publicly, be it at school, work, anywhere. It always got people punished from my vantage point, and I've been on this earth 40 years. People should be punished for blatant disrespect. That ain't freedom. Tact isn't a bad thing you know.

Liberation is a commie replacement word that gives the Speech Police power to order punishment for those getting out of line. There is no right not to be offended. Respect is earned, or not. NOBODY should respect dysfunctional ways of life, especially people with less resources or lots of problems trying to pull them down. I don't respect the Gomer Pyles kissing on his cousin, huffing paint, stealing EVERYTHING. Freedom means "leave me the eff alone and I will make my life how I want."

The Professional Victims have ticked off so many normal people lots of them simply refuse to listen to PV arguments, give them benefit of any doubt, etc. The PVs used up almost all of the good will in the wider community and here we are. People can be professionally & perpetually outraged and people can be actually offensive or simply not able to speak in a way that EVERY Professional Victim was not professionally outraged. Being offended proves not one thing, it just exists.

Tact isn't a bad thing and who uses MF this and that MF 20 times per sentence in real life? Mention that and someone will claim you are criticizing "their culture". Bad behavior is bad behavior. Everyone has power over behavior if they are adults. Not everyone cares about adult behavior, not everyone despises crime, not everyone values good behavior, not everyone values calmness and self-control. You aren't the only person with a view on this topic and your view isn't the only allowed view. When this topic comes up what's wrong with more than one view? How can someone distinguish between a genuine outrageous comment and a comment that is unfair to even think? Being offended can't be the yardstick unless you are the only fair person.

There was no disrespect to you personally in the OP. If there was, the mods would have jumped all over him. The BLATANT disrespect started when you decided that you can determine what another person can or cannot say.

You're so cute when you're wrong. People can say whatever the hell they want to. I never ever said what he could or could not say. He said something I didn't care for. I commented. I don't have to like or tolerate it if i don't want to.

Wait a min....you're trying to tell me that I shouldn't have said anything to OP. You're over here trying to DETERMINE what I should or shouldn't say to anyone. Look at you being two faced lol. Excuse me for not falling in line and bowing down to you, Massa......lol.

You don't get to tell me what makes me feel disrespected. The irony. The very thing you falsely accused me of, you're doing.

Well ....... everyone is offended by different things. Sure, i do believe thick skin is required. There are some things that will offend you. Evidently, urban culture offends you. You don't like it. That's fine. I'm not a fan of conservative ideology. I'm not going poo on it. You like what you like man.

That is exactly what freedom of speech is. I’m not saying you should say whatever you want, but you certainly have the freedom to do it. Likewise I have the freedom to say what I want in response.

Freedom of speech is the freedom to say controversial things without threat of one’s government imprisoning them for words.

Lotta people think freedom of speech is they get to run their dick sucker but nobody else gets to.
