Then why did you need to interpret what he wanted to say? How do you know what he wanted to say if you didn't read his mind?

Mass shooters have come in all colors and ethnicities. We have seen that repeatedly. In a diverse nation with extremely loose gun laws, I'd be pretty ignorant to scream Betty White every time there's a mass shooter. That'd be lazy thinking of my part. For me, it's more about character than anything. I just don't see a need to talk about demographics in any of these situations. Mind you, I offered some solutions for us as truckers, being that I live in Memphis. I want all of you to be safe as possible should you deliver there, and I'll be glad to help if asked. For me, I'm more concerned with helping fellow truckers but sometimes the racial and prejudiced undertones show in these posts, and the focus gets a little lost.

The thing is, a handful of people in a demographic don't tell the story for all. Truckers though, that's hard to ignore, and a completely different story. A lion share of truckers actually are stinky, nasty, sub human. When folks talk about truckers and their negative ways, I don't even try to argue them. Lol. Many truckers have bad character. If it weren't for all you, I'd never talk to other truckers. Some members on here, I look at with a side eye lol.

 

Been a long time ago, but there was a BIG difference in St Louis, MO and E. St Louis. IL (National. City).

I think for the ones who have priors, the road to redemption proves to be too big of a mountain to climb. Our society ain't all that forgiving..kind of a blood thirsty self righteous world we live in right now. Folks pay their debts to society, but some won't even get a chance to prove themselves. Now I'll be fair here. You've had many guys overcome and do something with themselves. They showed a lot of resilience, but the road to redemption is certainly a rough one. I'm by no means excusing repeated bad behavior, I'm only expressing a theory, maybe understanding as to why that happens.

It needed to be done. The better question is why you're being a contrarian. Anyone with half a brain knew what was being conveyed. I'd like to think you're smarter than that.
